Imagine you're promised apples for dessert and you get half ripe ones... Yeah That's how burning our waste feels; it's like providing a solution that comes with a problem in itself. Over the years, while burning our waste can seem to make them 'disappear', the harmful by-products released, cost of the big machines needed and its overall impact doesn't make it as appealing as recycling, reusing or repairing those waste materials can be.
Burning is one of the ways to treat waste. It can reduce the bulk and make it weigh less. It also turns them into simpler forms like ashes while providing heat energy that many factories transform into electricity but it shouldn't be the go-to option for a greener future and here's why:
1) Incinerating waste releases harmful gases and toxic ash that can pollute air and water for humans and animals.
2)Treatment plants remain very expensive projects that require a lot of expertise while recycling programs offer far more opportunities for work and self employment too.
3)Green house gases produced as waste materials are burnt contribute to the climate crisis.
4) Incineration is not worth the risk as more sustainable ways of reducing the landfill intake can be encouraged.
So next time, if you would, please reconsider setting your waste pile ablaze. Cheers!

Very well written, it can't be out first approach when talking about waste control and sustainability, more attention must be geared towards other Eco-friendly processes which are not limited to segregating, recycling etc.
