Hey there, Glad you checked in.
In a moment, you'd be in the scene with a real story about a young hero with no super powers, just a kind heart and a little basket, from which this story was rolled out.
13 month old , Zetura*, became our hero when she was spotted to always use the waste bin independently after having her packed- snacks at Sunday school!
Unlike other of her friends, Mummy taught her never to litter or drop her sweet wrappers and sticks to the ground. It was her way of making Mummy proud at home ,and now also, wherever they went!
The small basket was set aside after the warden noticed Zetura would motion for the outdoors with her biscuit wrapper in hand with a gesture that said , "I want to take this out ,please!" The warden would smile , lift her up and then release the squeezed wrapper from her pea-sized palms with soft convincing words that would assure Zetura's young mind that she would help with "that".
Well, gone are those days, since it has now been arranged and a small basket at the rear, is Zetura's new stop! That was her first heroic action.
More interestingly, each time Zetura took those 22 bold steps from her seat having had her cookies or juice pack, her mates watched and learned!
They learned as their friend made this little act of kindness to her surroundings .
This made them choose to make such bold steps, and soon, it became common place for all wrappers, tetra packs and candy sticks to be all together in that little basket of hers....Well-done Zetura*!
*The story was adapted from an actual conversation with a parent about her child. Although the name has been changed for privacy, we love to hear such testimonies and couldn't wait to share this one with you.
Cheers!
